An unusual opportunity to see the York Castle Museum Cells in a new light and on a particularly misty and atmospheric evening.
Pilot Theatre's production of A Restless Place was the starting point for this series of installations and sounds of recorded voices, found stories, tales of home and the search for belonging.
Audiences were guided around installations in the cells before going into the cell yard to print their own letterpress poster with The Print Project and hear an eerie live soundtrack (by George Murray and Aby Vulliamy) to a final animation (by Hondartza Fraga) on the cell walls.
